Kristin Kennedy

Biography

Kristin Kennedy is a multidisciplinary artist and educator who investigates the power of noticing as applied to curiosity, creativity, and community. She received her Master of Arts in Leadership from Truman State University in 2026, her Bachelor of Arts in Art in 2018, and her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2011. Kristin’s combining of these liberal arts educational experiences with varied professional experiences in agriculture, hospitality, education, parenting, and higher education administration allow her to draw connections between topics that others miss and communicate directly with a variety of audiences. Through her multidisciplinary art practice, Kristin continually explores how her art-making and art-sharing invites her communities to look around them with fresh eyes. This practice helps others notice and connect more with their inhabited world so that they grow more capable of growing and deepening their communities, of expressing gratitude, and of becoming agents of change.
